Dear Church Family,
We thank the Lord for the many souls that were saved and baptized in 2011 for the glory of God. We are looking for another great year in 2012.
As many of you already know I will be stepping down as Pastor of Berean as of March 4, 2012 after 27 wonderful years of ministry. Berean Baptist is at it’s peak in ministry and things are going well. I felt I did not want to hinder the church because of my age - as Church work takes a lot of energy and work. God has sent a good Man, Bro. Mike Pinson and his family to take over the work at Berean. He is young and will be able to take the Church forward under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We are very blessed to have a good man like Bro. Pinson who has a vision as I have had over these years. I encourage each of our dear people to give him the same loyalty that you have given me. My wife and I believe this is God’s perfect will.
We thank the Lord for allowing us to serve the Lord at Berean Baptist Church. We have grown over these 27 years tremendously because of the dear folks God has given us to serve and do the work of the Lord in our Sunday School, Children’s Church, Bus Ministry, Jail & Nursing home ministries, as well as many various ministries that Berean has. We have had souls saved & baptized almost every week that I have pastored. God allowed us to be in five building programs with an
estimated value of over $2,000,000 worth of buildings and property. God is Good! My wife and I want to extend our love to each member of Berean Baptist Church and you will always be special to us. May God bless you as we continue to serve the Lord together.

SATURDAY - FEB 11TH - Adult Valentine Banquet - Meet in Fellowship Hall @6:00pm We will have a nice meal.
Special Guess Speaker Bro. Mike Pinson.
Special Activities for everyone. Pictures will be made. Cost is $15.00 per person or $25.00 per couple. Please purchase Tickets from Sis. Karen Key or Sis. Ann Lane.
SUNDAY - FEB 12TH - Whole Heart Sunday - We are looking for a perfect attendance in each Sunday School Class and on every bus route in order for your Teacher and Bus Captain to have a “Whole Heart” on this special Day. We will have Hot Dogs & Hayrides for all the kids..
