Dear Church Family,

We are thrilled at the opportunity the Lord has given us to serve Him with you at the Berean Baptist Church. You have already made us feel so welcomed and loved. I have chosen a theme for the rest of 2012, “Our God Makes the Impossible – Possible.” I trust that you will join me in believing this. I know from past experiences that God can truly do the impossible. Many people ask, “Can God?” I say, “God can!” I am trusting that God will allow us to continue to see souls saved, baptized, and added to the church.

Berean Baptist Church has been a great church under the leadership of Pastor Davis and Ms. Connie. They have faithfully “stood by the stuff” for these 27 years. I know we are all thankful for them and the blessing they have been in each of our lives. Continue to pray for them as they continue to serve our Lord. I also covet your prayers as the new pastor of Berean Baptist Church. It is my goal that we move forward in reaching this area with the gospel of Christ. I am looking forward to serving the Lord together. If I can ever be of assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Dear Church Family,
We thank the Lord for the many souls that were saved and baptized in 2011 for the glory of God. We are looking for another great year in 2012.
As many of you already know I will be stepping down as Pastor of Berean as of March 4, 2012 after 27 wonderful years of ministry. Berean Baptist is at it’s peak in ministry and things are going well. I felt I did not want to hinder the church because of my age - as Church work takes a lot of energy and work. God has sent a good Man, Bro. Mike Pinson and his family to take over the work at Berean. He is young and will be able to take the Church forward under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We are very blessed to have a good man like Bro. Pinson who has a vision as I have had over these years. I encourage each of our dear people to give him the same loyalty that you have given me. My wife and I believe this is God’s perfect will.
We thank the Lord for allowing us to serve the Lord at Berean Baptist Church. We have grown over these 27 years tremendously because of the dear folks God has given us to serve and do the work of the Lord in our Sunday School, Children’s Church, Bus Ministry, Jail & Nursing home ministries, as well as many various ministries that Berean has. We have had souls saved & baptized almost every week that I have pastored. God allowed us to be in five building programs with an
estimated value of over $2,000,000 worth of buildings and property. God is Good! My wife and I want to extend our love to each member of Berean Baptist Church and you will always be special to us. May God bless you as we continue to serve the Lord together.

Dear Church Family,
God gave us a good year in 2011. We praise the Lord for the souls that were saved as a result of our Bus ministry, Sunday School ministry, Children’s church ministry and Jail ministry. This is not counting those who were saved as a result of our 140 missionaries we support. God gave us 903 saved, 47 baptized, with 20 new members. The heartbeat of God is people being saved. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. We thank God for a church that loves souls.
We enjoyed our Christmas programs presented by the Teen and Junior Choirs. They did an excellent job portraying the true meaning of Christmas. Our Adult Choir is a key to good services of our church and did an excellent job with their annual Christmas presentation as well. We are looking for a wonderful year ahead and we pray God will give each of you a wonderful and prosperous New Year! May God bless you.

It seems as we get older time really flies. It hardly seems Christmas is just around the corner. We thank the Lord for the time we can celebrate our wonderful Lord’s birth on December 25. We trust that each of you will have a wonderful Christmas and I know you will as you put Christ first in your lives.
November yielded many saved by God’s wonderful Grace. We saw 65 trust Christ with a very good
attendance in Sunday School and Church. We thank each of you who had a part in bringing those to Christ.
We enjoyed our annual Thanksgiving meal and service with our dear folks, and of course, Old
Fashioned Day.
We are looking forward to hearing from our Teen & Junior Choirs as they perform their Christmas
program on December 11th and the Adult Choir Program on December 18th. May God bless each of you this Christmas Season.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 11TH - Teens & Jr Choir Christmas Program - These Choirs will combine for a special Christmas Play and musical @6:00p. Please bring finger food for afterwards.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 18TH - Adult Choir Christmas Program - The Adult Choir will present a special program in the evening service.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 25TH - Christmas Day - We will have a combined Sunday School & Morning Worship service at 10:30am & a Regular Evening Service at 6:00pm. Lord’s Supper in the Evening Service.

Dear Church Family,
We thank the Lord for the 43 saved during the month, with 7 baptized and 3 New Members. During the month of September we recognized all of our Leadership that work in the
various ministries of Berean. We appreciate each of you who are so dedicated to the ministry God has called you to do. Our Stewardship Campaign was a great success with the
Macedonia World Baptist Missions Conference hosted by our Church. We greatly appreciate all who made the Conference a success. We had great preaching by some choice men of God and Missionaries who shared their heart concerning the field to which God has called them. We are anticipating a successful Fall Campaign “Fishers of Men” continuing through the month of October. May God bless each of you as we serve together.

We thank the Lord for the 54 saved during the month, 2 New Members. Our Stewardship
Campaign will end on September 11. We will be receiving our “Faith Promise” Cards for the following year. We ask that you pray about what God would have you give toward World Wide Missions this year. Please put the amount on your card and turn it in on September 11. The “Macedonia World Baptist Missions” Conference will be held at Berean this year and we will have approximately 28 missionary families with us during these four days - Septem- ber 11th through 14th. Be sure and get a Conference Schedule Brochure located in the Vesti- bule. Pray for the Conference speakers and missionaries. May God stir our hearts for world wide missions this year. Events:
Ga Youth Fellowship - Youth will be going to Peoples Baptist Church in McDonough Ga for the “Georgia Youth Fellowship.” We will leave the church around 2:30pm. Dr. Johnny Pope will be preaching. We will eat at McDonalds afterwards.

Macedonia Annual Missions Conference -
We will have a meal each evening at 5:30p for the missionaries 6:00p for the folks of Berean Service will began regular times on Sunday & 7:00pm Monday - Wednesday

Dear Church Family,
We thank the Lord for the 41 saved during the month, with 4 baptized and 2 New Members.
Our Youth had a great time at the Bill Rice Ranch Camp. Many decisions were made and hearts stirred. Our Annual Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 11th - 14th.
We are excited about many young people coming to hear the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through the years our VBS has been the greatest tool in reaching kids for Christ of any
ministry that we have. We thank each worker who dedicates themselves to this ministry and each Bus driver who drives a bus. Without you we could not have VBS. Pray for the Mike Pinson family who will be with us mid -July to help us in our ministry at Berean. May God bless each of you.

Dear Church Family,
April was a very good month. God gave us 87 saved, 7 Baptized with an average of 247 in Sunday School. We thank each of our folks for the great job preparing for Revival. God blessed and moved in the hearts of people. We thank the Adult Choir and each of our singing groups who prepared and presented heart stirring music for the Revival. The Revival was well attended and the altar was full each night. We thank our ladies who prepared the meals each night. It simply was a tremendous week.

In the Month of May we will have our Choir Seminar, Music Sunday and Baptist Boys Battalion and Blue Denim & Lace Banquets. We will honor our High School & Kindergarten graduates as well. May God bless each of you as we continue to serve the Lord together.

Dear Church Family,
March was a very good month. God gave us 81 saved with an average of 250 in Sunday School. We thank each of you who are so faithful in visiting each week.
The Georgia Youth Fellowship was great with approximately 330 young people attending and 21 churches represented. Dr. R. B. Ouelette preached a timely message. The altar was full and many decisions were made. We thank each of our folks who made the service a
success.
We ask each of our folks to start now praying for our Spring Revival April 18th through the 22nd, with Dr. Chris Haizlip preaching. Please invite folks now to the Revival. Our Adult Choir will be singing in each service as well as our special singing groups.
Our Easter Sunrise Service is scheduled for 7:00a on Easter Sunday morning.

February was a very good month. God gave us 29 saved with 4 baptized and 1 New Member. We thank each of you who are so faithful in visiting each week. We have seen the result of our visitation in a good attendance in Sunday School and averaging over 200 on our buses each week.
We had a great time at the “Couples Retreat” in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, with twelve couples attending. We had a great time of Fellowship, but most importantly, some quality time with our Spouses. We trust the Retreat will have a lasting effect on our couples. We would like for more couples to attend next year. We believe you will be blessed.
Our Church will be hosting the “Georgia Youth Fellowship” on March 5, at 3:00 pm.
Dr. R. B. Ouellette will be the guest Speaker. We invite all to attend and support our young people.
Our annual “Baby Day” is scheduled for Sunday March 6th. We invite all who have Children 5 years and under to attend and be recognized in the service and receive a free gift. Pictures will be made as well. May God bless each of you as we continue to serve the Lord together.

Dear Church Family,
Psalm 146:1 “Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.” This verse is appropriate for what God has done. Our “Bus Conference & Revival” was great. God gave us over 500 in Sunday School and Church on our “Big Day” with 58 saved, 5 baptized and 2 new member. Our Revival was great. Special preachers were: Dr. Dean Hamby, assistant director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions, Dr. Scott Caudill, Pastor of Canaan Baptist Church and Bro. Tony Howeth deputation director of Macedonia. These men of God preached timely messages and encouraged each of us who work in the Bus Ministry and those who have a desire to win souls and obey the great commission.
We thank each of our dear folks for the hard work and prayer that went into our “Big Day” and Revival. We thank our Bus Workers for bringing in over 400 on the Buses and our Adult Choir for their faithfulness during the week and all the special music presented.
We are looking forward to our “Whole Heart Sunday” coming February 13th and our Couples Retreat in Pigeon Forge Tenn on February 17th thru 19th. May God bless each of you.

God gave us a great year in 2010, with 1304 Saved, 78 Baptized, 19 New members, with an average of 258 in Sunday School. Praise the Lord for His goodness. We thank the Adult Choir for the great presentation of music during our Christmas program. We appreciate the good job our Teen & Junior choirs did presenting their Christmas program as well.
Miss Connie and I want to thank each of you for the generous Christmas gift you gave us at our annual Christmas supper. We have the greatest people at Berean and we really appreciate each of you and all you do for our Lord. We love you and pray God will give each of you a wonderful New Year.

We are excited about our annual Bus Conference & Revival with Dr. Bill Wininger, Pastor of The Kings Way Baptist Church in Douglasville, Ga. The meeting is scheduled for January 23rd through the 26th. We have set a goal of 600 in Sunday School to kick off the Conference. We are excited about filling our buses and Sunday School classes on that day. Pray now that God will be honored in all we do and that many souls will be saved. Remember Luke 14:23 “...Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” May God bless each of you.

Dear Church Family,
We thank God for the good month in November. The Lord allowed us to have 50 saved, 8 baptized with 2 new members. Praise the Lord! God is so good to each of us. James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
We pray God’s richest blessings upon you during the Christmas season and throughout the new year. We love each of you and thank you all for your love for the Lord and your labor of love. Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

Dear Church Family,
Our Annual October Campaign, “Running the Race,” was a great success. The Lord gave us 34 saved as a result. God gave us 82 total saved for the month with 5 baptizms. Praise the Lord! We thank each of our dear folks for the prayer, hard work that made the campaign a great success. We averaged 298 in Sunday School for the four weeks with a high day of 312.
We thank our Bus Workers for the good job of averaging 227 on the buses. Good job.
We extend a special thanks to Bro. Mike Head for providing his race car and rides for
everyone during the campaign. What a blessing to see how God uses the talents of folks for His honor and glory.
Our Fall Revival is scheduled for November 1st through 3rd, Monday through Wednesday with Dr. Allen Barker. Pray now for the Revival and Dr. Barker. May God bless each of you this Thanksgiving season and throughout the Holidays.

Dear Church Family,
In September God gave us 68 Saved, 3 baptized with a Sunday School Averarge of 250. Praise the Lord! We appreciate all of our leadership at Berean. September is the month we highlighted our respective ministries. We appreciate each one who is involved in some kind of Ministry at Berean Baptist Church.
We are looking forward to a great month this month of October. We are having our annual Campaign and the Theme is “Running The Race.” We encourage each of our members to invite people to the services. We have invited several Race Car drivers and asked them to bring their cars. Among them is Hall of Famer - Mike Head.
Our “Ladies Retreat” is scheduled for October 14th - 16th at the Bill Rice Ranch. There is still time to register if you would like to go.
Please remember to pray for all our ministries and also for those who are sick on our prayer sheet. May the Lord bless each of you this Fall

EVENT:
Youth Explosion - Meet at Church at 8:30p. Teens will be going to Victory Baptist Church in
Loganville, Ga. Speaker will be Dr. Scott Pauly with Crown College from 10:00p - 12:00a then off to the Malibu Grand Prix in Norcross from 12:00a till 6:00a. Cost per teen $25.00. See Bro Tommy for more details.

In August God gave us 85 Saved, 7 baptized & 1 new member. Thank each of you for a great “Stewardship & Missions Revival” month. Remember, all we have belongs to the Lord. Let us continue to give of ourselves, our time, talent & our treasure. God is worthy. We thank
the Lord for the great Revival with Dr. Thurman Wade and the visiting missionaries and their families. They truly showed their hearts concerning world wide missions. We are thankful we took on three more missionary families making a total of 135 missionaries
supported by Berean.
September is the month we highlight our respective ministries for the coming year: Nursery workers, Ushers & Greeters, Sunday School Teacher & Children’s Church workers & Bus Workers. We trust you will plan to attend your respective banquet and we thank God for each of you who labor so diligently for our Lord Jesus Christ.

AUGUST 2010

The Highlight for July was our Vacation Bible School. We had a great staff of 40 people, with an average of over 200 each day in attendance. God gave us 99 precious souls saved. We have baptized a few of those and hope to baptize many more. We ran our Buses and bused in many of those who otherwise would not have heard the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ. We thank each of our workers for a job well done.

August is our Month of Stewardship. We will be teaching on Stewardship throughout our Sunday School for the next four Sunday's. We will end our stewardship training with our "Missions Revival." Dr. Thurman Wade, General Director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions, will be the main speaker with several missionaries and their families visiting with us and preaching in each service as well. Berean currently supports over 100 missionaries for World Wide Evangelization. Please pray about what God would have you give each week toward missions this year. The Missions Revival will begin on Sunday August 22 at 9:45am and go through Wednesday August 25.
We ask each family of Berean to bring a covered dish for the meal each night of our
Revival and we will eat together each evening. May God bless each of you.

God gave us 77 Saved as a result of our Church, Bus & Jail ministries as well as 9
Baptized. The Highlight for June was the Bill Rice Ranch Camp. We had a total of 30 to go to camp and it was a great week. Many decisions were made for the Lord. We thank those who made it possible for some to go who would not have otherwise been able to. We thank each of our counselors, Bro. Tommy, Bro. Les, Sis. Karen & Miss Connie for working with our young people.
Our Vacation Bible School is scheduled for the week of July 12th. We are looking forward to seeing many boys and girls receive Christ as their Savior. If you would like to work in VBS please let us know as soon as possible. We also need bus drivers. We will be running our Buses that week. May God bless each of you.

God gave us 92 Saved as a result of our Church, Bus & Jail ministries as well as 11
Baptized. Praise the Lord! Our May Revival with Dr. Chris Haizlip was great. It was the best attended ever. We thank each who faithfully attended. We appreciate the faithfulness of our Adult Choir. We had a full choir every night. The messages were exactly what God wanted and, as a result, many decisions were made and God helped many hearts during the week.
We had a great Mother/Daughter Banquet. Miss Connie did a great job organizing it and we thank each who helped her with the decorations. We are thankful for all of our ladies in the Church. May God bless each of your respective ministries to the Lord, your family and your Church. We honored all Mothers present in our Mothers Day service. May God bless each of you as well. Pray for our youth who will be traveling to the Bill Rice Ranch June 13-19. Pray God will speak to their heart during the week. May God bless each of you.
